MainStage is a software program developed by Apple, designed for use in live keys performances. It works by connecting a keyboard to your Mac and then using the sounds in MainStage instead of the built in sounds on your keyboard. The main reason for using MainStage is that the sounds are far superior to almost any hardware keyboard under $2,000, and at just $30 MainStage can be a great investment. MainStage is also used by many of the keys players in the world's biggest worship bands, such as Peter James from Hillsong United and Ian McIntosh from Jesus Culture.

No. Unfortunately MainStage is a software developed by Apple, meaning it will only work with MacBook computers.

Mainstage will work succesfully on all MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, iMac Pro, Mac Mini, and Mac Pro computers. For succesful use in live performance, at least 8gb of RAM is reccomended. SSD (Solid State Drive) is also useful for better performance.

Any Keyboard with USB or MIDI connection will work as a primary controller for MainStage. In addition, Infinite Worship Keys has been designed to work with any MIDI controller containing at least 8 Knobs, 8 Faders, and 8 Buttons. Some MIDI keyboards, such as the M-Audio Code series, or Novation Launchkey series, have these controls built-in. If your keyboard does not have these controls onboard, you can easily pick up a Korg Nanokontrol 2 for around $60. 

To download, head to the "Download" button which will redirect you to the download page. From there enter your email address and you will then receive an email with the download files. Once this has been completed, just double click on the zipped file in your downloads folder, select the MainStage file, and it will open up in a new concert. If you want to be able to use the sounds in Logic Pro, you will need to move the Channel Strip and Patch files to a new location. The instructions for this are included in the download.

None! Infinity uses only stock MainStage 3 sounds and effects, meaning no third party software is required. The only requirement is a Mac with MainStage 3 installed.

To use the Infinity patches in Logic Pro X, you will need to move the Channel Strip Settings and Patches folders (Both included in the download) to a new location.

To install the Channel Strip Settings, drag the <Infinity for MS3 - Channel Strip Settings> folder to: Audio Music Apps > Channel Strip Settings > Instrument. To load these into your project, you will need to open a new channel strip in edit mode (MainStage) or the mixer window (Logic), and select: Setting > User Channel Strip Settings > Infinity for MS3 - Channel Strip Settings.

To install the Patches, drag the <Infinity for MS3 - Patches> folder to: Audio Music Apps > Patches > Instrument. To load these into your project, create a new patch and hit: CMD+I > Instrument > Infinity for MS3 - Patches (MainStage) or: Y > User Patches > Infinity for MS3 - Patches (Logic).

To start a drone pad, simply click on the button in the key of your choice and the pad will fade in auomatically. To change key, press the "Change Key" button, and then select the new key of your choice.

Infinite Drone Pads are set up to only play the root and fifth note of each key, meaning they will work in both major and minor keys.

Before you start a drone in a new key, make sure you press the "Change Key" button, as this fades out any drone that was already running.
